Magills x My Food Bag Pulled Pork Bao Buns
200gm Magills Pulled Pork
4 Bao Buns
1 Brown Onion, chopped
2 tspn Chinese Five Spice
1 tbsp Hoison Sauce
Half cup Chicken Stock
1 tspn Honey
Half cup sliced Red Cabbage
Quarter cup sliced Cucumber
First, pop your brown onion and Chinese five spice in a pan and fry until softened.
Then add Hoison sauce, chicken stock and honey. Next add the Magills Pulled Pork and break up. Let it simmer until the mixture is thick and saucy and the Pulled Pork is heated through properly. Once done, set aside, season with salt and pepper and keep warm.
Next steam your Bao Buns. Steam them in a steam basket and make sure they aren’t touching. Once they’re soft, remove carefully from basket and peel apart.
Add your Pulled Pork mixture and garnish with red cabbage, cucumber, peanuts, chilli and coriander.
