Serves 4-5
Ingredients:
600-700 gm Magills Beef Mince
1 Brown onion
1 cup Rice (dry)
Half a celery
3 cloves fresh garlic
4 White button mushrooms
¼ cup Soy sauce
¼ cup Rice wine mirin
1 tbsp Chilli oil
To serve (optional):
Fried egg
Coriander
Spring onion
Fresh chilli
Sushi ginger
Method:
Start by dicing your brown onion, mushroom, celery, and garlic. Heat a little oil in a frying pan and add your beef mince. After a couple of minutes add the chopped veggies, soy sauce, mirin and chilli oil if using.
At this point, cook your rice as per your preferred method. Keep stirring and cooking the mince and veggie mix until the soy sauce and mirin start to thicken. After 10 or so minutes everything should be cooked, or not far off.
Serve the savoury mince on top of the rice with any toppings you like!
